The six-day tour in Uzbekistan.
During this short but intense tour you will visit three ancient cities of Uzbekistan, with their rich cultural heritage.
This tour will get you acquainted with the traditions of the Uzbek people, its culture, you will plunge into the world of ancient mysteries and legends. During the time spent in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, you will see a lot of historical monuments, mosques, museums and mausoleums.

Each one is unique and inimitable. You will as well get acquainted with the art and the history of the cities placed on the Great Silk Road thousands of years ago. You will get vivid, unforgettable experience and feel fabulous oriental coloring

Day 1: TASHKENT

TOUR PROGRAM

Arrival in Tashkent.
Hotel check-in. Time for rest.
Sightseeing program:
  •  Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Art. The museum features unique exhibits that show the history of the decorative arts of Uzbekistan. Among them there are the works of masters in wood carving and embossing, jewelry, masters of embroidery with gold threads and many more.
  • Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Alisher Navoi
  •  “Mustakillik” Square (Independence Square)
  • Amir Timur’s Square
  • Monument "Courage"
  • Minor mosque (White Mosque)
Lunch.
 
Continuation of the sightseeing program in Tashkent:
 
  • Complex Hast-Imam, the madrasah complex Mui Muborak kept the most famous Quran in the world - the Osman Koran (7th century) - the original source of the holy book of Islam
  • Tashkent Subway. Tashkent metro stations will surprise you with its decor, so unusual for public buildings. Each station – it’s a peculiar exhibit of mastership of contemporary designers and builders. This is one of the two subway systems operating in Central Asia at the present (the other one is in Almaty, Kazakhstan)
  • Old Town - Chorsu Bazaar

Day 2: TASHKENT – SAMARKAND

TOUR PROGRAM

8:00 Departure from Tashkent to Samarkand by train or plane.
10:10 Arrival in Samarkand. Hotel check-in. Time for rest.
Lunch.
Sightseeing program:
 
  • Mausoleum of Amir Temur - Gur Emir (14th century)
  • Registan Square includes a triad of Ulugbek Madrasah (15th century), Sher Dor Madrasah (17th century), Tillya Kori Madrasah.
Dinner.

SIGHTS

Day 3: SAMARKAND

TOUR PROGRAM

After breakfast sightseeing program:
  • Ulugbek Observatory (15th  century.)
  • Afrasiab ancient settlement (7-2 centuries BC.)
  • Afrasiab Museum, here are stored archeological discoveries and unique wall painting fragments (7-8 cc.)
  • Mausoleum of Khoja Daniyar (Daniel the Prophet)
Lunch at the local tea house.
Continuation of sightseeing program:
  • Bibi-Khanum (1399-1404), built in honor of the wife of Amir Temur. It is a combination of architectural elegance and Oriental décor
  • Shahi Zinda Necropolis
  • Memorial Complex of Kusama Yibin Abbas (9 century), It is believed that he was the cousin of the prophet Muhammad
  • The famous Samarkand bazaar Siyob

SIGHTS

Day 4: SAMARKAND – BUKHARA

TOUR PROGRAM

After breakfast a trip to the memorial complex of outstanding Sunni theologian - Imam Al-Bukhari in the village Hartang.
The settlement is situated 30 km from Samarkand. Starting from the 9th century, the mausoleum was a place of pilgrimage of Muslims, supporters of Al-Bukhari. Gravestone made of Iranian onyx. The complex includes a mosque and cells built in the 16th century. Sunni Muslims equate visiting the tomb of Al -Buhari to the small Hajj.
Then transfer to the railway station.
12:00 Departure from Samarkand to Bukhara.
Lunch in the train.
Arrival in Bukhara.
Hotel check-in. Time for rest.
Dinner at the restaurant "Minzifa".
Night walk around the city.

Day 5: BUKHARA

TOUR PROGRAM

 After breakfast, the sightseeing program:

  • Grand Mausoleum of Ismail Samani - the burial place of the powerful and influential dynasty Samanid Emir (9th century). The mausoleum has a unique design and artistic brickwork done in a manner typical for the pre-Islamic culture.
  • Chashma Ayub (Job's well), is located near the Mausoleum of the Samanids.
  • Bolo Hauz (18-20 centuries).
  • Citadel Ark - winter residence of the Emir of Bukhara

Lunch at the local tea house "Bolo Hauz"
Continuation of sightseeing program:

  • Kalon Mosque
  • Kalyan Minaret
  • Mir-Arab Madrasah
  • Ulugbek Madrasah
  • Abdulaziz khan Madrasah
  • Ancient Trading Domes
  • Magoki-Hattori Mosque (12 century)
  • Next stop - Lyabi House Complex, consisting of: Kukeldash Madrassa, Divan-Begi Madrasah and Khanaka
Traditional dinner at the restaurant-theater "Adras" with show program.

Day 6: BUKHARA

TOUR PROGRAM

 After breakfast, a trip to the summer palace of the Emir of Bukhara “Mohi-Khosa” and the necropolis of Bahauddin Naqshbandi, built in 1544.  Bahauddin Naqshbandi was influential Sheikh in Bukhara, suffist theologian. Sufis and Muslims equated visit to his burial place to a small hajj.

Lunch at the local tea house.
Additionally, in Bukhara:
  • Bozori Cord Telpakfurushon. Eastern men's bathhouse. Every day, except Tuesday
  • Hamam Kunzhak. Eastern women's bathhouse near Kalon Minaret
  • Folklore show and a fashion show - Madrassah Nodir Divanbegi
  • Puppet theater workshop
  • House - Museum of Faizulla Khodjaev
  • Ceramic shop in Gijduvan
Dinner at the national house "Akbar" (19th century).
Overnight at hotel in Bukhara city.
